Kara, I think your account was restored but now my recent comments to you are gone. :( Oh, well.

I think it's awesome how you have so many nationalities in you; I wish I were something besides Chinese. Like part French, Korean, or Japanese.

Stargirl's a pretty short book. For older teens like us it's a fairly easy read, and very enjoyable. (=

I'd want to camp out under the stars every night if I went on a road trip. I'm secretly a nature girl. XD

I've only been in an airport in New York, but not actually in the city or anything. I was in JFK for about 4 hours one day, and then the flight back we were there for 2 hours. haha
Raleigh is pretty cool, yes. As far as road trips, I've been all up and down the east coast, except NY and NJ and things.
Last road trip I went on was to Pennsylvania, I believe.
But I've also been to Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina. Places like that.
Savannah, Georgia and Strasburg, Virginia are two of my favorite places.
And I don't mind all the questions! :]

Mountains! I want to go hiking. Haven't done that in forever. xD Raleigh does sound cool, including the name. Have you ever been to New York?
And where have you been on road trips to?

(Sorry for all the questions based on your About Me.)

Ahh, things to do. hmm... there isn't a ton to do unless you travel a little bit. But where I am, the beach is 2 hours away and the mountains are 2-3 hours away.
So its pretty good, I guess. I'm also pretty close to Virginia.
There are a few theaters, malls, parks, and downtown raleigh is really neat. There is a lot to do there, hookah bar, there are 2 local venues, lots of awesome restaurants. things like that.
But I usually spend most of my time at friends places.
Now that I think about it, there is quite a bit to do.

And yes, Steph & dee are active, which is good. haha

Oh, I meant living in NC in terms of people, places, and things to do. ^_^
The closest I've been to NC is Virginia, so I'd definitely like to visit NC someday.

That's okay; I ramble all the time. Just not much on cB. And Dee and Steph are still around a lot! It's not like they're being torn away from you. D:

NC is pretty rad most days. I'm not really sure how it was today, it was in the 60s I believe, and just sunny.
But I didn't go outside, cause I don't feel good.

Yeah, I was on myspace staff as StanleyThePanda forever! hahahaha
And thanks, that means a lot.
2 1/2 years on staff was a long freakin time, it was kind of hard. Cause I guess I was just attached. But what I really miss about it is all the people I used to work with, not so much the people now.
Except for Dee, Steph, and the mentors.
Mona too. & Sammi doesn't really count since she stepped down.
Ahh, I'm rambling on. ._.

Lol, today it rained here so my hair was a goner.
What is it like living in North Carolina?

Oh, and I'll miss having you on staff... I remember when you were still on MySpace Staff as StanleyThePanda.

LOL yeah, but still. One of my good friends told my best friend she thought I was asian. Even people IRL.
I guess I sort of look asian, and I'm not sure if my grandma was, but she looks it. So maybe that is where I get it from.
haha thanks though. My hair is pretty awesome most days, sometimes I hate it though. xD

I saw your picture in the mod intros thread (in which your post doesn't count anymore xD;), and now I can see why people would think you're Asian. The bottom half of your picture makes you look it. o.o Your hair looks great though.

Posted by tokyo-rose on Oct 10, 07 6:06 pm

Yeah, it's been awhile. And yes they do, I have no idea why.
I've had quite a few people on cB say that they thought I was asian, and even people IRL.
Even one of my close friends thought I was for awhile. xD
*shrug*

How have you been?

Hello, long time no comment.

Do people really think you're Asian? And why? o.o

Thanks for still being willing to do this. >.

Posted by tokyo-rose on Jun 4, 07 9:37 pm

I can do that, just let me think of some and I'll make a list for you. haha

Posted by arcanum on Jun 3, 07 10:48 pm

Ahh Kara, I just remembered yesterday. You know how I posted in Anonymous Shoutouts that I loved the lyrics of the songs you posted in the Currently Listening thread? I never got around to it and I don't want to search for the pages you posted on, so if you could just run some titles by me... :] That would be great. They don't have to the ones you posted, just some that you really love.

Thanks. ^-^

About Me
My name is Kara, I'm nineteen. My birthday is in june, and I was born at 7:24am. I'm really quiet when I first meet people {unless I'm doing their hair}, but I'm probably one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. I'm told that a lot. I try to be optimistic about everything, and I try not to take anything for granted. I basically have the best friends in the whole world. I am a christian, God is freakin amazing. I believe what I believe, and you can talk to me about it if you want, but you won't change my mind. I really wish I lived in Ireland, I went there over the summer with some amazing people and I had the best time. Dublin is gorgeous, and the people I met there were some of the coolest people I've ever met. I want to move there when I have enough money. I am currently in Cosmetology school, and will be done very soon. I absolutely adore hanging out with friends and traveling. Roadtrips are the best. I enjoy going to good shows, listening to music, watching good movies, and reading good books. But I'm not very picky about movies, just music and books. xD

Favorite Quote
"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it careful round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket-- safe, dark, motionless, airless-- it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable... The only place outside Heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers of love is Hell." - The Four Loves by C.S. Lewis
